I went into this book wondering if Feyre actually dying nullified the “bargain” with Rhysand. To be honest the depth of Tamlin’s character had me concerned because that boy sure does like keeping up appearances.
First off, Ianthe, gives me major creepy vibes at the start, so does how easily everyone does what she suggests even Lucien, who is a major disappointment in my opinion. Like Lucien had more banter and chemistry with Feyre than the vain man.
I wondered too much what she saw in Tamlin, Rhysand a much better pick and I am glad they managed to sort their shit out. However can I just say that the whole mating bond thing, when Feyre finds out… She acts as if she doesn’t care at all leaving him in the mud. Not being funny but she could have at least waited till someone took over. He was clearly injured like dude, where is her compassion?
This book was very much addictive. I loved some of the come backs and action and the ending. Anyone else thinking Nesta is kinda trash as a general person?
The fake breaking the bond scene though? Chefs kiss.
However Tamlin… ergh, what a douche cannoe.
Right I am off to read the next one… Wish me luck.
