I breathed A Court of Wings and Ruin

I am pissed that Suriel died, spill even more tea first dude!

I found that the death gods dying part in the big old war at the end anti climatic at best.

That Nesta would rather sulk for so much time after being turned Fae doesn’t sit right either. With that level of possible self loathing I figured her mentality was going to be more of a fighter determined to never be that weak or defenceless again. Instead she coddled and took ages to do absolutely anything. Girl has got no grit.

Mor being gay, seems unplanned and more like lip service, like the first two books I thought it would be more a case of she might end up with Az or that the damage of the whole Eris thing would mean that she just couldn’t be emotionally available like ever. The way she toys with them and puts Cassian in the middle, oh and the jealous act over Cassian and Nesta doesn’t make sense. Is it really just her annoyed her buffer is otherwise occupied or having to share limelight? Also for a character who’s supposedly built all around honesty the lies she tells especially in that made family doesn’t make much sense given how much they support and love and build each other up.

How many times do they stick their tongues out and call people “prick” though?

It’s not the best book in the series so far, is this where things begin to unravel?

I don’t know, it seems like the end of this book could have been just a “the end” kind of moment, so I don’t know what I will be expecting with the next books in the series. Honestly beginning to get concerned.

Whats on your mind?
